On the night of the 19th of October, 2010, a group of bloggers including those who have been named as bloggers responsible for the recent posting' Who gets Santa Rais RM1 Billion handout?'
got together at the National Press Club, the bastion for media practitioners, and unanimously decided to form an umbrella body to stop Taikors (not related to Taikors and Taikuns) from bullying us!
Formulated to provide a platform and to possibly derive defensive mechanisms to protect the plethora of bloggers in blogosphere, especially on Malaysia and Malaysia-centric postings, Bloggers For Malaysia will make itself available for those who have no one to turn to for help in times of trouble.
The Pro-Tem Committee of Bloggers for Malaysia are as follows;
1. President - Syed Akbar Ali (Out Syed the box)
2. Deputy President - Akramshah Muammar (Tangents)
3. Secretary - Tony Yew (muststopthis)
4. Deputy Secretar - Firdaus Abdullah (signboard)
5. Treasurer - Zakhir Mohamad (bigdog)
Committee Members
6. Dato' Ahirudin Attan (rockybru)
7. Shamsul Akmar
8. Eric Woon (I am a Malaysian)
9. Endie Shazaly Akbar
10.Nuraina Samad (3540 Jalan Sudin)
A couple of us has already received some queries on how to join.
It is premature right now to provide you membership details, until we can finalise these which has to be submitted to the Registrar of Societies.
As such, kindly leave your name, email, and blog links in the comments below, in order for us to get back to you.
We thank you for your support, and we look forward to getting BfM up and running for the benefit of those that are truly blogging for Malaysia.
Salam 1 Malaysia.

POLISH UP YOUR ENGLISH - 260411
ReplyDeleteTo strengthen the proper command of English
Its daily correct usage must be bullish
Avoiding all petty arguments that are foolish
Concentrate on aspects of language you need to polish
